GLITCH was founded in May 2010 by two undergraduates who believed that video games matter and sought to build a community of like-minded people. Since 2013, GLITCH has expanded to become a full-fledged nonprofit alongside its student group counterpart with upcoming projects fiscally sponsored by Games for Change; an international non-profit organization that supports games as a critical tool for social impact.
 
Community is the foundation of our organization and it’s for them that we continue to improve our programming and create opportunities.
 
We’re looking for passionate, talented and ambitious individuals who take play seriously. Like us, you thrive working in a team environment and are passionate about the unlimited potential that games have to influence our society.
 

Position Information

Term: September 2015 – May 2016
Work Hours: 10-15 hour commitment per month
 

Compensation

Point Collection System – Earn free games, equipment, and event tickets for hours contributed

  2. A killer communicator who can easily connect with others and your knowledge about video game culture makes you approachable and relatable
  3. A huge stickler about being on time and always arrive a few minutes early, you know… just in case
  4. A college student who knows their campus in and out, from the best lunch areas to the fastest shortcuts to classes

 
YOU WILL:

  1. Connect GlitchHQ to your college campus
  2. Attend one Ambassador meeting each week
  3. Share upcoming events with students by posting flyers, visiting classes, and chalking campus sidewalks
  4. Assist the team at flagship events, such as GlitchCon and Welcome Geek
