Get ready for GlitchCon and GameCraft at this 2-Day introductory workshop on game development in Unity. Work alongside local Unity experts and other attendees to create your own quirky, zombie-filled runner game. Basic scripting and zany art assets are already made, just come ready to learn about applying physics, particle effects, and 3D model usage in Unity.

Special guests include Matt Gravelle, co-founder and Chief Production Director at local game development studio Graveck, and Ashley Godbold, game and application development instructor at the Minnesota School of Business-Richfield and founder of Mouse Potato Games.

Basic programming knowledge is recommended, but all skill levels are welcome! Please make sure to bring a laptop with Unity version 4.6 installed and ready to go prior to the event.

Before the workshop, be sure to check out these handy tutorials from the Unity team and Lynda.

Dinner is included on Friday evening and lunch will be served on Saturday afternoon.
