What is the Collegiate Summit at Riot HQ?
The Collegiate Summit is an annual conference hosted by Riot Games to determine how to improve gaming communities at North American Colleges and Universities. At the Summit, attendees will engage in a series of intensive workshops with the Riot Community team. The topics that will be covered this year are listed below:
- Getting respect and support from your school
- Leadership transition (passing the torch from officer to officer, especially after graduation)
- Keeping club members engaged
- Engaging club members despite wide skill/ranking differences
How is Glitch Involved?
As one of the leading organizations involved with Riot’s Collegiate Program, we were invited to send two representatives to the Collegiate Summit. Sam Viesselman and I will be heading to Santa Monica, CA in a couple of weeks to attend the Summit to tackle these difficult issues.
